About

WELCOME!

Welcome to Calvary Chapel! We are thankful that you are here and we hope that you will join us in our mission to know Christ and to make Him known.

Here at Calvary, we like to think of ourselves in the sense of a family unit. Our Heavenly Father’s love is what governs us; His Son’s death and resurrection is what justifies us, unifies us, and frees us to serve Him; the Holy Spirit is who directs us in how to apply His word and to use our time, gifts, talents, and resources for His glory; His word is what informs and instructs us.

We want to live out the commission of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, by God’s grace, reaching our community, our country and our world as God desires. We hope to see changed lives and renewed hope in our family through God’s grace.

We hope you feel welcome and that you will stick around to see how God wants to work in your life and through your life in this family He has made.

Grace and peace in Jesus Christ,

Phil McKay, Lead Pastor

OUR MISSION: To reach, rescue and restore sinners to Jesus, by God’s grace and for God’s glory.

We share the mission Jesus gave to all His church in Matthew 28 when He spoke to His followers, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

OUR VISION: We carry out our mission by Upreach, Inreach, and Outreach – anchored in and fueled by the Gospel.

The Gospel is the good news that in the person of Jesus Christ, God reached down to a sinful world; and our three-fold response to the Gospel is a life lived reaching up, reaching in and reaching out. In Acts 2:42-47, Scripture reveals these as “vital signs” of a healthy, growing and Biblical church.

1. Upreach – Our love and worship of God, through gathering for preaching, prayer and praise.

2. Inreach – Our community life of Gospel-centered discipleship and service to one another.

3. Outreach – Our privilege and responsibility to minister the Gospel in word and deed to the world around us locally, nationally and internationally.
